Udaipur, Marking a significant stride in making higher education more accessible and industry-oriented, Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Bhatewar, inaugurated its new City Office at 221 Ashok Nagar Main Road, near Maya Misthan, Udaipur. Alongside the inauguration, SPSU also announced the launch of its pioneering five-year integrated BBA-LLB program, creating a new benchmark in Southern Rajasthan’s academic landscape.

The inauguration was led by Dr. Prithvi Yadav, President and Vice-Chancellor of SPSU, who emphasized that this initiative reflects the university’s commitment to bridging the gap between students, parents, and the institution by placing itself in the heart of the city.

A New Chapter in Legal and Management Education

At the press conference following the opening, Dr. Yadav highlighted that the integrated BBA-LLB program is approved by the Bar Council of India and is the first-of-its-kind double-degree program in Southern Rajasthan.
“This innovative program aims to shape professionals who possess a deep understanding of both management and law—qualities increasingly demanded by global industries,” Dr. Yadav noted.

He further explained that graduates of this program will be equipped to:

• Practice law in Indian courts,

• Enter judicial services,

• Pursue careers in corporate law, legal consultancy, and public administration,

“Today’s industries require professionals who combine managerial acumen with legal expertise. This program will unlock limitless career opportunities for students, preparing them for global competitiveness,” he added.

City Office: Student-Centric Infrastructure

The newly inaugurated City Office has been designed as a student-friendly hub equipped with modern facilities, including:

• Counseling Space for admission guidance and academic queries,

• Meeting Rooms for academic and administrative interactions,

• Digital Support Desk for online and technical assistance,

• Student Service Center dedicated to resolving student issues and providing ongoing guidance.

According to Dr. Yadav, this initiative ensures that students and parents can now easily access university services without traveling far from the city center.

Expanding Horizons Beyond Law

SPSU’s vision extends beyond the BBA-LLB program. Recognizing the rapidly evolving demands of the sports industry, the university also offers a BBA in Sports Management program. This course caters to students passionate about sports and eager to explore global opportunities in sports administration, management, and event coordination.
“The sports industry is booming worldwide. From working with international organizations to collaborating with coaches, players, and sports professionals, the scope is endless,” Dr. Yadav shared.
